This guideline outlines the San Gabriel Unified School District’s expectations for using generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) tools by students, staff, and educational partners.
Gen AI is an adaptive artificial intelligence tool that creates products such as texts, images, sounds, videos, etc. in response to human input. The district understands that technologies, such as Gen AI, are rapidly evolving. To ensure learners are future-ready, the district empowers our students to use technology in a responsible, ethical, and creative manner.
This guideline is designed to minimize the potential risks of using Gen AI while enhancing student learning.
